Monday Morning Flow
An all-levels class focusing on flow and alignment.
Yin Yang Yoga
Experience the beautiful marriage of effort and surrender. Yin, the "passive" exploration of stretch postures, allows the body time time soften and turn inward, calming the mind and nervous system. Yang, the "active" upward and outward mix of energizing yoga sequences, develops muscular strength and stamina.
Yoga Stretch & Sculpt
Rooted in yoga's traditional movements, Stretch & Sculpt amplifies the overall practice by utilizing props (handweights, resistance bands and yoga blocks) which aid in the achievement of a toned yoga physique.
Guided Meditation with instruction & discussion. Meditation will typically be seated and can be done on the floor with available props or in a chair. Some classes will include walking and movement meditation as well as other mindfulness exercises. Appropriate for all ages, experience, religion and background.
Similar to Restorative Yoga, in Yin Yoga, students hold passive poses for extended periods of time, encouraging deeper levels of flexibility in the body.
Amrita is a form of vinyasa yoga with influences from Ayurveda that brings focus to neuroscience, yoga philosophy, pranayama and mindfuless. It is taught in alignment with the rhythms of nature and in harmony with the changing of the seasons and time of day. This surya morning practice will focus on energizing and cleansing the body while promoting vitality and building stamina, strength and resilience.
A more vigorous flow practice that follows a sequence of postures, incorporating specific breath work to facilitate the effectiveness of each asana. Appropriate for practitioners of all levels.
Heated Yoga Warm Up
Perfect on these cold, dark, winter mornings we'll crank up the heat in the room to between 75-80 degrees and work up internal heat with a Vinyasa Flow to help clear the body of stagnant energy and toxins. This class is ideal for beginning as well as experienced practitioners.
YogaCore awakens the body's center through dynamic yoga sequences to support the spine and pelvis providing stability and power to move the body. By engaging our core muscles, we create a collaboration between mental and physical well-being, ultimately leading to a more aligned stature both on and off the mat.
A slow, therapeutic class for those with arthritis or other chronic condition or injury, Gentle Yoga features a variety of gradually held postures that work to soothe the nervous system and increase immunity in the body. This class is also ideal for first time practitioners.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow
Students will be led through a structured and energizing practice that, with consistency, builds strength, focus and flexibility while purifying the body, mind and spirit.
Introduction to Ashtanga Primary Series
An extended class dedicated to introducing more of the Ashtanga primary series.
A deeply relaxing class to support the parasympathetic nervous system. Students can expect deeper sleep and relief from stress, anxiety and chronic pain.
Yoga Lunch Break
At increased pace, Allise will lead an all-levels Hatha Flow; an energetic flow that offers intermediate postures with advanced variations.
Sunday Slow Flow
Tough week? Recovering from some tough week-day workouts? This nurturing flow is designed for all levels of practitioners to de-stress the whole being through a slow flow of movement and connected breath work to mellow atmosphere and music.
